I grew up in Macomb County, Michigan, with my two siblings and my parents. Family is really important to me. I truly believe they can help you get through anything! In the image to the left that I created off of Canva, you can see a photo of my husband and I hiking in the upper peninsula and another photo of my family and I in Virginia Beach.

I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2013 with a double major in Art and Spanish education. I earned a Master of Arts in Educational Technology degree from Michigan State University in December 2020. I have been teaching Art and Spanish since 2014 and I currently teach at Pine Knob Elementary! In a typical year, I have over 500 students with over 20 different classes- WOWZA! I love to learn about each and every one my students and get them paintin', sculptin', drawin', colorin' and creatin' from the first day of school.

In the summer of 2018, my husband and I got married and we now live in Waterford. We do not have any kids but we have a cat and that's enough for now! Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, taking hikes, having bonfires, creating art, and staying active. I also love to travel. I've been to a couple of different countries in Europe and I set a goal to make it back and explore even more with my husband.
